The PHUHS football team completed the most statistically successful season in school history. The Hurricanes finished the regular season with a record of 6-4, and earned their first ever playoff berth. Now a month removed from a crushing loss to district champion Eastlake in the regional semi finals, the players now look back on the 2011 season with a certain feeling of accomplishment and seniors are content with how their team will be remembered.
“We really came together as team this year, and looking back. we did something pretty special,” senior Tommy Hart.
The senior class leaves Palm Harbor as the most winning-est class in school history and under the new leadership of Matt Lepain, have laid the foundation for future success and tradition at PHUHS.
