It would be a privilege to have my heart broken by this movie: The Fault In Our Stars

“The Fault In Our Stars” is slowly but surely taking over the world.

Originally, “The Fault In Our Stars” started as a teen novel by John Green, but since millions of people loved the book and demanded a movie be made… It happened.

John Green announced that TFIOS would be made into a movie. It was also announced Shailene Woodley would be playing Hazel Grace Lancaster and that Ansel Elgort would be playing Augustus Waters. Woodley is well-known from her role in the hit TV show on ABC Family, “Secret Life of the American Teenager.” This is a huge contrast in the character, but Woodley will be able to play the part.

Without giving too much away, the general plot line of the novel/movie is that it’s a “cancer story” without really being a “cancer story”. It sounds odd in writing but it does make sense in the novel/movie. I don’t want to give away any spoilers so that’s all that I can say. Okay?

The first trailer for the film was released January 29, 2014. The trailer had over 3 million views in less than 24 hours after its release. A video clip was revealed in a pre-show at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards on April 13, 2014. The movie is expected to reach a wide-population of people and be one of the highest grossing movies.

The movie is scheduled to be released in the United States on June 6, 2014.

**I would highly recommend reading the book before you go to see the movie so you can get the full effect of just how wonderful it truly is**
