Here is a continuation of the Under the Mistletoe critique. The following songs are from Justin Bieber’s deluxe version of Under the Mistletoe.
12. “Christmas Love” – It’s February Justin, please just accept that she’s not coming for her Christmas Kiss under the mistletoe.
13. “Fa La La (feat. Boyz II Men) [A capella]” – This song was a tad better because it lacked the weird hip-hop beats in the background that the non-a capella version had.
14. “Pray” – Apparently, this song came out around a year ago. It has a positive message to it but it feels as though it doesn’t belong on a holiday album.
15. “Someday at Christmas” – This song has almost the same message as “Pray” but makes it pertain to the holiday season. It is actually very soulful which is probably because it was sung when Justin was much younger and thus did not try to over-popify his covers.
Again, save your money and your ears from bleeding, please don’t buy the full album. If anything, “Silent Night” and “Someday at Christmas” are the best selections from Under the Mistletoe. I award Under the Mistletoe Deluxe Edition 1 out of 5 stars.
